Sean Hannity and other Fox News hosts are fighting a battle for survival.

Democrats and their allies in the "mainstream" media want to silence the network's voice.

And now there is more bad news on the way as these three words could end Sean Hannity's career.

The liberal media targeted Fox News for destruction ever since it became the top-rated cable news channel.

Journalists and Democrats seethed about the fact that Fox News ended the liberal media's monopoly news and presented an alternative to news networks filtering the news through the prism of how it helped advance the Democrat Party's agenda.

But in recent months Fox News has come under an even heavier and more sustained media assault.

Both the New Yorker and New York Times published hit pieces claiming Fox News was "state-run TV" for the Trump administration.

This hurt Fox News bottom line as the Democrat National Committee announced it would not partner with Fox News for a highly rated Presidential debate which deprived Fox of the chance to charge advertisers higher rates.

That's when viewers started to notice a shift in some Fox programming.

On-air talent such as Neil Cavuto, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and Shep Smith became more openly hostile to the President.

And the network hosted a town hall event with Bernie Sanders where Fox packed the crowd with socialists and the hosts lobbed softball after softball to Sanders.

However, that did not satisfy the left.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren announced she rejected an invitation for a Fox News town hall and claimed she did so to help put Fox out of business.

Warren ranted that she declined the invitation because Fox was "hate for profit" written on Twitter:

But Fox News is struggling as more and more advertisers pull out of their hate-filled space. A Democratic town hall gives the Fox News sales team a way to tell potential sponsors it's safe to buy ads on Fox—no harm to their brand or reputation (spoiler: It's not).

Here's one place we can fight back: I won't ask millions of Democratic primary voters to tune into an outlet that profits from racism and hate to see our candidates—especially when Fox will make even more money adding our valuable audience to their ratings numbers.

Warren's dangerous call to arms escalated the left's new front in their war on conservatives and Trump supporters – corporate censorship.

The left knows the government can never pass a law banning Fox News.

That would be unconstitutional.

So instead the left targets Fox News's bottom line by pressuring their advertisers to refuse to buy commercial time on Fox News Channel's highly rated primetime hosts' program.

Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Laura Ingraham have all faced sponsor boycotts designed to force Fox to choose between advertising revenue and their most popular on-air figures.

In a May 19 Fox News town hall, event South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg alluded to this plan to put Fox out of business by smearing their hosts as "racists" when he attacked Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson by name.

Host Chris Wallace tossed a softball to Buttigieg about appearing on the network, and the South Bend Mayor claimed he had reservations because of the phony liberal outrage over comments made by Ingraham and Carlson.

"I get where that's coming from especially when you see what goes on with some opinion hosts on this network. I mean when you've got Tucker Carlson saying that immigrants make America dirty. When you've got Laura Ingrahamcomparing detention centers with children in cages to summer camps," Buttigieg ranted.

Buttigieg concluded, "There is a reason why anybody has to swallow hard and think twice before participating in this media ecosystem."

But while Fox bathed in adoration from left-wing journalists for giving Democrats a platform with no pushback to promote their campaigns, Donald Trump warned Fox News not to become another house organ for the Democrat Party.

"Hard to believe that  @FoxNews is wasting airtime on Mayor Pete, as Chris Wallace likes to call him. Fox is moving more and more to the losing (wrong) side in covering the Dems. They got dumped from the Democrats boring debates, and they just want in. They forgot the people who got them there. Chris Wallace said, "I actually think, whether you like his opinions or not, that Mayor Pete has a lot of substance...fascinating biography." Gee, he never speaks well of me - I like Mike Wallace better...and Alfred E. Newman will never be President!"

Some Americans worry that Fox News us moving left to get in on the action in the Democrat Presidential primary to make up for lost ad revenue to the left's pressure campaign against their advertisers.

If that is the case, will Hannity stick around when his contract is up if Fox turns in to just another anti-Trump outlet?
