Donald Trump is pulling out all the stops to stem the tide of the illegal alien invasion along the Southern border.

But Democrats maintained open borders by shopping around for hand-picked Obama judges to block President Trump’s “America First” immigration agenda.

That all changed when one court handed Donald Trump the victory he never thought was possible.

The Trump administration negotiated an agreement with the Mexican government to return migrants to Mexico to wait for their asylum case to make its way through the courts.

President Trump argued this would ease the strain on Customs and Border Patrol’s detention resources during the illegal alien migrant surge and cut back on the disastrous “catch and release” policy.

However, Democrats fell back on their tried and true tactics of shopping around for an Obama appointed District Court judge to issue a nationwide stay stopping the order.

That is exactly what happened when U.S. District Court Judge Richard Seeborg – appointed by Barack Obama – handed down a ruling blocking the order.

The administration appealed to the Ninth Circuit court and for the first time emerged victorious.

Reuters reports:

The U.S. government can continue at least temporarily to send asylum seekers back to Mexico after President Donald Trump scored a rare ruling in his favor on Friday from the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals

The asylum program was set to be shut down at 8 p.m. EDT (midnight GMT) by an order issued on Monday by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Seeborg, but the Trump administration had asked for the Court of Appeals in San Francisco to intervene.

The Court of Appeals issued a two-paragraph order saying the lower court injunction was temporarily stayed while the parties prepare to submit arguments next week on the government’s request for a longer stay that would remain in place for the months-long appeals process.

Typically, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is where Trump administration executive orders go to die.

The court is packed with left-wing activists that serve as far-left policy board imposing their radical vision on American under the guise of the independent judiciary.

That’s why open borders activists felt comfortable filing their initial suit in Seeborg’s court.

They figured any appeal was dead on arrival in the Ninth Circuit.

They overplayed their hand.

And President Trump applauded the out-of-no-where victory.

“Finally, great news at the border!” the President tweeted.
