Alan Jackson, representing Weinstein, asserted that Jennifer Siebel Newsom, who was referred to as “Jane Doe 4” for the case and worked as an actress in films and TV before marrying her husband, had agreed to “consensual, transactional sex” with his client.
“Regret is not the same thing as rape, and it’s important we make that distinction in this courtroom,” Jackson declared.
