Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared on his state propaganda network where he claimed that election fraud in 2020 resulted in the Ukraine war.
Putin made the claim that there may have been no conflict in Ukraine if the deep state had not stolen the 2020 presidential election from its rightful winner, Donald J. Trump.
“If he had been the president, if the victory wasn’t stolen from him in 2020, maybe the Ukrainian crisis that arose in 2022 would have never appeared,” Putin said on Russia Today.
Now that President Trump is in power, Putin is stating that he is ready for peace talks to bring an end to the war with Ukraine.
“We are also open for dialogue with the U.S. administration on the Ukrainian conflict. The most important thing here is to eliminate the fundamental reason for the conflict, that’s the most important… It’s goal should be not brief ceasefire, not just getting sometime to regroup and rearm and carry on the conflict, but a long-term peace based on respect to lawful interests to all people and nationalities living in the region,” Putin said last week.
