President Donald Trump slammed former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview Tuesday, claiming the former anchor has a "low IQ" after Carlson criticized the president for his recent threats against Iran.
“Tucker’s a low IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” Trump said during an interview with the New York Post. “He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls. I don’t deal with him. I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”
Carlson claimed Trump's Truth Social post from Sunday was “vile on every level,” after Trump warned Iran that if it did not meet his Tuesday deadline for a ceasefire or reopen the Strait of Hormuz, then Iranians would be "living in hell."
