President-elect Donald Trump and President Joe Biden are set to meet at the White House on Wednesday as Trump prepares for his second term.

The meeting, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET, will take place just over a week after Trump cruised to a landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, the candidate who replaced Biden on the ticket in July after the president’s fellow Democrats urged him to drop out of the race. It will be a rare meeting between the two presidents. After the 2020 election, Trump declined to invite Biden to the White House as he continued to challenge the election results.

Trump’s visit with Biden in the Oval Office also marks his first return to the White House since the end of his first term on January 20, 2021.
