Senator Rand Paul has suggested that Elon Musk be named the new Speaker of the House to replace Rep. Mike Johnson.
The Kentucky politician made the suggestion in a Thursday morning post on X.
“The Speaker of the House need not be a member of Congress . . .” Sen. Paul began.
“Nothing would disrupt the swamp more than electing Elon Musk . . . think about it . . . nothing’s impossible. (not to mention the joy at seeing the collective establishment, aka ‘uniparty,’ lose their ever-lovin’ minds),” the post concluded.The Speaker of the House need not be a member of Congress . . .
