Republican House candidate Harriet Hageman rolled to a decisive victory in Wyoming Tuesday night, replacing outgoing GOP Rep. Liz Cheney.
Decision Desk HQ and other outlets projected Hageman as the winner at approximately 11 p.m. Eastern Time Tuesday. “Thank you, Wyoming. I am honored to represent you and I will always put Wyoming first,” she tweeted.
The Wyoming attorney earned 69.99% of the state’s votes with an estimated 91% of the votes in, according to Decision Desk. Democrat Lynnette GreyBull held 24.67% of the vote. Wyoming’s two GOP senators celebrated Hageman’s win in a joint statement.
