Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos has shrugged off the demand from President Donald Trump that the streaming giant fire an ex-Obama advisor from the company's board. In a post to Truth Social last week, the president said to get her off the board or "pay the consequences." This comes as Netflix, as well as Paramount, are vying to purchase Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).
Trump, in a post late on Saturday, "Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences. She’s got no talent or skills - Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. How much is she being paid, and for what??? Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT."
