Nancy Pelosi finally did the unthinkable.
After months of impeachment speculation, the Democrats finally made their intentions known.
Now all hell is breaking loose because Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued this ultimatum to Donald Trump.
Speaker Pelosi thought she could play President Trump for a fool.
Pelosi blasted the President for conducting a criminal cover-up just one hour before Democrats were scheduled to meet at the White House to negotiate an infrastructure bill.
Trump saw th3e Democrats were not bargaining in good faith and were attempting to lay the groundwork for an impeachment proceeding and walked into the meeting and calmly told the Democrats they could either legislate or investigate which ended the session.
Democrats were thrown off guard because they did not expect Trump to call their bluff.
Afterward, Pelosi held an awkward press conference where she struggled to put two sentences together and stammered and slurred through her words.
Pelosi issued an ultimatum to the Trump family, urging them to stage an "intervention."
"The president stormed out, pounded the table, walked out the door," Pelosi claimed. "Another temper tantrum, again, I pray for the President of the United States. I wish that his family, the administration, and his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country."
Pelosi felt obligated to hurl these smears because her caucus is rabidly demanding impeachment.
But with polls showing over 60 percent of Americans oppose impeachment Pelosi knows that is walking face first into a political buzz saw.
However, Pelosi will not be able to keep the impeachment tide at bay much longer.
And the Speaker's escalating threats to President Trump make it clear she is desperately trying to buy time as a part of failing effort to stave off the
Democrat caucus's hunger for impeaching President Trump.
