The California Democrat is furious Robert Mueller’s findings of no collusions between the Trump campaign and Russia destroyed her dreams of impeaching Donald Trump.
That anger led her to go on TV and make the biggest mistake of her life.
Waters appeared on Joy Reid’s MSNBC “Morning Joy” program where the controversial Congresswoman crossed a line by ranting and raving and how Republicans that still supported Donald Trump lacked “patriotism.”

While discussing Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) support for Trump, Water said, “One of the things you have to think about is this; who are the patriots? Who will stand up for America when our obvious enemy is basically hacking into our electoral systems? Who is going to stand up for America and claim to be a patriot when they see that there are many people around this president who have interacted with those from Russia, from the Kremlin, and with Putin? Where are they coming from? And I think when you ask yourself this question, you’d better be concerned about whether or not these are real patriots or whether or not they’re in the pockets of the president of the United States wishing to gain favor from the president and they’re going to stand up for him no matter what.”
She added, “And so I call out their patriotism at this point this time. You take a look at this report, and you will be shocked at the information that’s unfolding.”
Waters tantrum was not tethered to reality or the facts.
She continues to harp on the debunked conspiracy theory of Russian collusion to smear the President and his campaign team as traitors.
But even Robert Mueller – backed up by a “dream team” of Democrat prosecutors – failed to turn up any evidence to substantiate the allegations of collusion.
Secondly, Waters is once again spreading misinformation about Russians’ hacking in to the election.’
The fake news media began using this shorthand shortly after the election.
It’s false and dangerous.
Russia did not “hack in to the election.”
No vote totals were altered.
But the media adopted the phrase because they knew it would cast doubt on the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s election.
It was mission accomplished on that front.
A YouGov poll found 52 percent of Democrats believe the Russians tampered with the vote in the last election.
No matter how times Waters or her allies in the liberal media repeat this talking point it is false.
