Three teenage boys who were allegedly setting off fireworks near Washington City, Utah, are believed to have started a wildfire that has burned over 11,700 acres of land and is uncontained—with residents in the fire’s path ordered to evacuate.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation though authorities are asking for help to identify three teenage males “responsible for starting the fire with fireworks” seen driving a white sedan in the area on July 13.

The Turkey Farm Road Fire is the one of the largest wildfires Utah has experienced in 2020.

Air tankers, including a DC 10 imported from Arizona (the largest aircraft in wild firefighting), and planes filled with water are being used to stop the spread, reports St. George News.
