Georgia is currently leaning Democratic in the presidential race, according to a poll from a group supporting GOP Gov. Brian Kemp.
The survey was conducted by Public Opinion Strategies, a GOP polling firm, and interviewed 500 likely voters from May 4-7. The firm found that 47% of Georgia voters back former Vice President Joe Biden, while 46% support President Trump. The poll had a 4% margin of error, with 5% saying they were undecided.
GOP hopes for keeping the Senate are also under threat, with incumbent Sen. David Perdue leading Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff by 2 points at 43%. Ossoff ran for Congress in 2017 for the state's 6th District but lost to Republican Karen Handel by just under 3%.
