A fundraiser launched for an elderly California Target worker who was berated by a customer for wearing a Charlie Kirk shirt is quickly approaching $100,000, just hours after video of the encounter went viral on social media.
In the video taken by healthcare worker Michelea Ponce, she was heard calling the Target employee "racist" and "stupid." The woman had been wearing a shirt that honored the late Turning Point USA founder. "Are you f*cking stupid? You support a racist!" the woman said as she filmed the elderly employee. The worker later replied, "He is not a racist, that's your opinion. Have a nice day."
