The records, recently obtained by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson, included text messages and financial evidence tied to potential violations of the Mann Act, the federal law prohibiting the transportation of individuals across state lines for prostitution or “any other immoral purpose.”
According to the senators, the Biden Justice Department failed to provide the materials when they were originally requested during a 2022 congressional investigation into Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings and possible corruption involving the Biden family.
Sen Johnson&I released records 2day showing DOJ possessed text messages from Hunter Biden indicating potential trafficking/Mann Act violations Records support concerns we raised in our Sept 2020 Biden family report+ show double standard of justice
