Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats made obstruction their top tactic to defeat Donald Trump in 2020.

As Speaker of the House Pelosi approved investigations and lawsuits to grind the Trump agenda to a halt and sink the President’s approval ratings.

But that all backfired when this judge handed Nancy Pelosi the biggest defeat of her life.

Many Democrats believe if they can portray President Trump as a failure on securing the border and stopping illegal immigration, then his base will abandon him and the Democrat nominee will cruise to victory next year.

That’s why Democrats drew a red line in the sand on stopping President Trump from building the border wall.

When the President announced, he was reprogramming nearly seven billion dollars in Treasury Department and Pentagon funds to build the border wall.

House Democrats sued to stop the border wall construction.

However, Washington, D.C. District Court Judge Trevor McFadden threw out their lawsuit ruling that the Democrats lacked standing to sue.

McFadden wrote in his opinion that the court was the option of last resort to settle a dispute between two other branches of government whereas the Democrats sued as their opening play.

“The availability of these institutional remedies shows that there is no ‘complete nullification’ of the House’s power,” McFadden’s opinion read.

“Congress has several political arrows in its quiver to counter perceived threats to its sphere of power,” Judge McFadden continued. “These tools show that this lawsuit is not a last resort for the House. And this fact is also exemplified by the many other cases across the country challenging the administration’s planned construction of the border wall.”

This defeat is a massive setback for the Democrats.

First, this ruling allows border wall construction to proceed.

And even if another judge rules against the President, that means two lower courts are in conflict.

That sets up the case to make it to the Supreme Court where the five-member conservative majority is expected to rule in the President’s favor.
